With just under two weeks to go, the final touches of Sooty Land are now being completed... 

We're now getting (very!) close to the launch of our brand new area of the Theme Park - Sooty Land, which will be opening it's doors from Saturday 28th May for you to enjoy - just in time for May Half Term! With lots of new exciting rides, attractions and outlets dedicated to Sooty & Co, here's an update on how things are coming along so far in our new magical area of the Theme Park...

NEW Outdoor Rides 

Our four new outdoor rides; Sooty's Magic Bus, Sweep's Flying Circus, Soo's Sweet Balloon Ride & Izzy Wizzy Let's Get Dizzy are now all in place and test runs are being completed! We are now adding the final touches to the theming of the new rides and putting up the very last of the signage.

New Attractions inside 'The Pier' 

The Pier will be home to lots of indoor Sooty themed fun for the whole family including the following new attractions: 

• Sooty's Carnival Games including digital wall ball games 
• Sooty's Magic Mirror Maze
• Hall Of Fame (reflecting on 70 years of the Sooty Show)
• The South West's first ever interactive Strike Arena 
• The Sooty Store
• Electronic Climbing Wall
• Themed beach huts home to games including giant Twister, Tetris, Jolly Blocks
• A Dance Studio 
• Giant Buzz Wire 
• Exciting Photo Opportunities / Sooty's Stage photo opportunity 

The main structural works inside The Pier are now completed and the last bits of signage and theming are being added to all the above indoor attractions, including the iconic Sooty logo to Sooty's Stage photo opportunity! 

The historical memorabilia for the Hall of Fame arrived at the Theme Park last week, including props from the last 70 years of The Sooty Show which are currently being printed and displayed. 

The outside of The Pier has been repainted with a seaside blue and the final decorative touches are being added to the exterior of the building! 

The iconic Sooty logo is now attached to Sooty's Stage photo opportunity attraction inside The Pier.

Sooty's Big Top Showtime Arena

From Saturday 28th May, you can watch the iconic Sooty Show LIVE in Sooty's Big Top Showtime Arena - where you can enjoy Sooty, Sweep & Soo causing all sorts of mischief! The interior of our existing 'Crealy Arena' has all been ripped out with a new sound and light system installed last week and videos are in the final stages of production to accompany the show. The new set for 'The Sooty Show' is now up - ready for rehearsals to start before the big day.

New Food & Drink Outlets 

Renovations of our Sooty food & drink outlets are in the final stages and new tasty menu's are being printed! What was once known as Heritage Hot Dogs, Route 66, Lavazza & The Sweet Shop will now be known as Sweep's Hot Dogs, Sooty's Diner, Soo's Cafe & Seaside Spuds so there will be plently of delicious snacks to grab in between all of the Sooty themed fun! Yum! 

Signage for Sooty's Diner is now up! What's next? Trimming the edges of the boards around the puppets and arranging the tables and chairs!

Entry to Sooty Land is included in your Theme Park day ticket price along with over 60 rides, attractions, animals & entertainment at Crealy Theme Park. Please note, we have limited tickets available for May Half Term to control capacity and ensure the best guest experience for the opening week of Sooty Land. Annual Pass Holders are not required to pre-book online and in advance.
